Our profile

  • Bugoi Haven of Hope Nursery and Primary School started in 2017 with primary with primary one, two and three. The school is established a charity school for disadvantaged and vulnerable children. The school is supported by Haven of Hope Global Ministries in the United states. The children are provided with free education, scholastic materials, uniforms, feeding and healthcare. The children are also provided with other non school wear.

School Management

The school is currently headed by Dr. Johnes Obungoloch as the director. The school is also overseen by the Board of Directors headed by Rev. Abraham Eruku. Other committees at the school include the School Management Committee whose chairman in Mr. Silvester Ongia and the Parents and Teachers Association whose chairman is Mr. Okwany Charles.

School Growth

Bugoi Nursery & Primary School started in 2017 with 27 pupils from Primary one to primary three, four teachers and one class room block. The school has since grown to 174 pupils from Nursery section to primary five. The school now has eight (8) registered teachers and other support staff.

Nursery Section Block

The nursery section has a three class room block and an office. It also houses:-

  • Baby Class
  • Middle Class
  • Top Class

Primary Section

The primary section has two class room blocks. The upper block houses primary one to primary four, the head teachers office and a book store/library. The lower block currently houses primary five and primary six

Our Projects

The water project

Though this is not a major activity of the school, we have managed to construct two semi-permanent houses and one permanent house for the needy in Bugoi village. In 2017, the school also participated in painting a local health care facility in Akwei Village.

Food Distribution

During this COVID-19 period when children are not in school, the school has continued to distribute food and other household items to the children and their care givers to help them get a better living.

Bible distribution

The school has also distributed kumam bibles to many care givers and other people who are not necessarily part of our program.
